Melissa is a union Hairstylist in New York City and Connecticut. She is a graduate of NHA Paul Mitchell Partner School in New Haven, CT, and received her license as a cosmetologist in 2008. Melissa's passion for the craft, paired with her artistic ability to connect with others and fulfill their visions, allows success to her talent as a hairstylist. With 16+ years in the entertainment industry, Melissa has an abundance of credits in Broadway, Film/ Television and regional theatre. She is a member of I.A.T.S.E Local 798 Hair and Makeup Artists union. She has also studied the art of wig building at The Wig Academy, in Eastbourne, England.

Melissa has styled wigs in past years for heralded shows on Broadway such as The Lion King, Phantom of the Opera, Matilda the Musical, Beautiful the Carole King Musical, Aladdin, Kinky Boots, Book of Mormon and Motown the Musical leading to acclaim from talent and industry leaders. To follow, she joined the First National Tour of Matilda the Musical, as the Assistant Hair Supervisor in 2015.

Melissa’s work as Broadway Hair Supervisor includes wig and hair styling for Kinky Boots, King Charles III, Hillary and Clinton and Prima Facie starring Jodie Comer.

Melissa's work as Hair Supervisor for the British play King Charle's III on Broadway was highlighted in the October 2015 issue of Vogue.  As well as her journey as Hair Supervisor with Tony Award winning musical, Kinky Boots on Broadway was featured in w42 magazine.

Additional TV credits include: The Detour, She Came To Me, Blindspot, Law and Order, Joker 2, Just Like That S1, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, The Gilded Age, NBC’s Today Show, Tonight Show ft. Jimmy Fallon and The Blacklist and many more.

Melissa has lived in London and Los Angeles, giving her inspiration to culture & variety. She is happy to reside close to NYC in Fairfield County, CT.
